Water Analysis Method for on-line measuring and analysis of polluted water

Country: EU Projects
Start Date:   31/1/2001         Duration: 18 months         Project Type: RTD
Contract Number: EVK1-CT-2000-30003
Organisation Type:  EC Project

Project objectives:

Project Summary:
In most kinds of thickening/dewater systems chemicals are added to form particles into flocks. The result is depending on amount and kind of chemicals added.
The sludge mixture is normally overdosed with chemicals to compensate for possible changes in sludge mixture. In this project we will develop on-line analysis
system, which will optimise the thickening/dewater treatment. The problem to solve in this project is how to - measure the electric charge of the particles
in the flock .- analyse the contents of the flocks determine the optimal chemical additives.- have a direct surveillance and communication with the monitoring
of the treatment. The results will be on-line water analysis system for sludge treatment plants
